Centenary celebration of Jagat Guru Swami Brahma Nand

Chandigarh Dec. 27: The Haryana Chief Minister Mr. Bhupinder Singh Hooda announced that Government Polytechnic Nilokheri would be named after Jagat Guru Swami Brahamanand besides a Sport Stadium would also be setup at village Kalheri after the name of Shorya Chakra winner martyr Sultan Singh and announced a grant of Rs. 21 lakh for construction of Ror Dharamshalla at Panchkula. The Chief Minister was addressing a mammoth gathering on the occasion of Centenary celebration of Jagat Guru Swami Brahma Nand here today.Mr. Hooda exhorted the people especially Ror community that they should follow the cherished ideals and principals propagated by Swami Brahama Nand so that they could succeed in the life. Swami Brahma Nand took a pledge to fulfill the remaining work of founder of Arya Samaj Swami Daya Nand. He maintained that the main aim of both the great personality was to eradicate the social evils from the society and to motivate the women about education. After exchanging the turban with the president of All India Ror Sabha Mr. Ram Pal he said that the relations between two communities would be further strengthened. He was of the view that the most of the people belongs to farming community and he reminded that former Speaker Haryana Vidhan Sabha Ishwar Singh and Multan Singh had close relations with his father Ch. Ranbir Singh and after the exchange of turban these relations had become more realistic.The Chief Minister reminded that Lalit Butana had been made the member of Haryana Staff Selection Commission and Som Dutt Advocate, Member of Finance Commission. He assured that he would always keep their interest protected whether he would be in power or out of power. While paying his rich tributes to Swami Brahma Nand he said that he had to face a number of ordeals when the orthodox were prevalent in the society. Mr. Hooda said that Swami Brahma Nand had left the house in the age of merely 12 years and after 35 years of his death his principles were also inspiring the human beings. He advocated adopting Veda’s in the life. While reminding the contribution of Arya Samaj during the freedom struggle, he said that the then All India Congress President Sitabhi Ramaiya said that during the freedom struggle 80 percent contribution had been remained of the Arya Samaj. While referring the demands put by All India Ror Sabha President Ram Pal, Mr. Hooda said that if a Government Polytechnic had been sanctioned at Village Pabnawa District Kurukshetra the work would be started immediately otherwise the matter would be examined. While referring the demand for setting up of a Women College at village Bastara in Karnal District, he said that the demand would be considered during the next year Budget. While presiding over the function Mr. Ram Pal revealed that parents of Swami Brahma Nand considered him as incarnation of Lord Shiva. He said that Swami Brahma Nand belongs to Ror community and he had a great proud on him. He asserted that persistent efforts were being made by the Chief Minister to become Haryana Number – One in all spheres.Member of Parliament Dr. Arvind Sharma, HPCC working president Kuldeep Sharma, former MLA Tejveer Singh, Swami Sampurna Nand, Member of Ror Sabha, Som Dutt, Bhag Sing Arya, Jungla Ram, Nirmal Kalyan, Lalit Butana and Om Parkash also addressed the gathering.On the occasion Minister of State for Co-operation Meena Mandal, Parsani Devi, Jai Singh Rana, Tejender Pal Maan, Raj Rani Poonam, Sumita Singh , Bhim Sen Mehta All MLA’s, Political Advisor to Chief Minister Prof. Virender, Media Advisor to CM Sunder Pal Singh, Media Co-ordinator Jai Pal Mann, Deputy Commissioner B.S.Malik, SP A.S.Chawla and District Congress President Surender Narwal were also present.
